I had a problem.
This was happening to the shelves in our playroom.
Last time I checked, peeling paint chips weren’t too baby friendly.
There were two solutions I could think of to remedy this situation: 1) scrape all the paint off and paint a fresh new coat or 2) place something over the peeling paint. You can guess which one I chose.
All it took was a quick trip to Lowes and I had what I needed: Smooth top EasyLiner. It was easy to roll out, cut to the shape of my shelves and lay in on. Total cost: $6.00.
Now the toys have a safe, paint chip free zone to hang out. Oh, and so does my baby.
