Menu Plan Ideas for Next Week


In case you’re looking for some ideas for what to feed your crew this week, here’s what’s on tap for us.  The food with an asterisk (*) are ones that I or a freezer club friend prepared in bulk and froze ahead of time.  I didn’t want you to think I actually have time to cook all this every day.  Here‘s my philosophy about how to fix and eat mostly homemade food everyday.  It doesn’t include slaving over the stove every day, I assure you! 🙂

Sunday
Breakfast: Chocolate Banana Muffins
Lunch: Roll-ups made to order
Dinner: Tortilla Soup, guacamole and chips, fruit salad

Monday
Breakfast: whole wheat bagels with cream cheese, banana
Lunch:  leftovers
Dinner: whole wheat spaghetti, mini turkey meatballs*, green salad

Tuesday
Breakfast: sweet potato french toast, milk
Lunch:  peanut butter and honey sandwiches, carrots and hummus, banana
Dinner: Pot Roast*, honey whole wheat bread, clementines

Wednesday
Breakfast: leftover french toast
Lunch: cheese tortellini, sweet potato, applesauce
Dinner: Oven Omelet, 5 Minute Chocolate Oatmeal, blueberries

Thursday
Breakfast:  leftover Oven Omelet, leftover oatmeal, juice
Lunch: 5 Ingredient Mac and Cheese, steamed broccoli and cauliflower with cheese
Dinner: dinner at small group

Friday
Breakfast: Tropical Pumpkin Smoothie, Instant Breakfast Sandwiches (recipe to come this week)
Lunch: peanut butter and honey sandwiches, carrots and hummus, banana
Dinner: pizza, salad

Saturday
Breakfast: pumpkin chocolate chip muffins, green smoothie
Lunch:  cheese and crackers, veggies and hummus, apple slices
Dinner: Raspberry-Glazed Pork Tenderloin*, mashed potatoes, salad
