Video from Rachel: Top 10 Toddler Books

Whether it’s for Christmas, a birthday, or just picking books out at the library, I hope you find these Top 10 Toddler Book recommendations helpful as you’re selecting books to read to your little ones.

Here we are in all our morning glory at home. Bed heads on the sick kids and all. 🙂

Did you notice something “off” about the video?

I only held up 8 books! Um, oops. That, my friends, is what happens when you have little kids running around while recording a video. I listed the missing ones below.

In no particular order, here are our Top 10 Toddler Books I mentioned in the video above. Well, actually, two of the books are actually an author and a series. I’m sort of blowing this Top 10 concept, aren’t I? 🙂 By way of reminder, my husband’s and my 3-prong criteria for the selection are:

1 – Well-written
2 – Great illustrations
3 – Enjoy reading them to our kids as much as they enjoy hearing them

Peek-A Who?

Jesus is With Me

First the Egg

Peep!

Potato Joe

The House in the Night

Raindrop, Plop!

Any of the Llama Llama books: Llama Llama Mad at Mama, Llama Llama Home with Mama, or Llama Llama Red Pajama

Most of the Sandra Boynton books, especially Belly Button Book and Pajama Time! – Forgot to say this on the video!

Good Night, Gorilla – I forgot to say this one on the video, too!

If you have a younger kiddo, check out Polly’s book recommendations for a one year old, too.
