Ah, June. The garden lettuce and kale is abundant, and my green peas are beginning to produce. I’m ready for fresh, summer salads and lots of grilling. In fact, I’m collecting lots of Real Food Grilling recipes on this pin board. So, here’s what’s on the docket (and the grill) this week at our house.
Sunday: Mini Italian Pub Burgers on Homemade Wheat Buns, Oven Fries, corn on the cob (try this no boil trick!), green salad with Balsamic Parmesan Dressing
Monday: Asian Slaw with Chicken, watermelon
Wednesday: BFD*: Chocolate Zucchini Waffles, scrambled eggs, Banana Split Power Smoothie
Thursday: Grilled cheese sandwiches, steamed broccoli, cantaloupe
Friday: Grilled Marinated Steak Kabobs, baked potatoes, and Easy Grilled Vegetables from Gimme Some Oven,
Saturday: Shrimp Scampi Skewers from Gimme Some Oven, whole wheat cous cous (with extra of the lemon garlic sauce over it), Greek Garden Salad
