10 Easter Gifts That Will Last Longer Than a Chocolate Bunny

By Rachel Tiemeyer

10 Easter Gift Ideas

My kids will get a chocolate bunny this Easter. They’ll cheer. And they’ll eat it in no time. And they’ll look really cute with a chocolate ring around their mouths in their Easter clothes.

But, we will also get our kids one gift for their Easter basket that we hope makes a lasting spiritual impact in their lives. I want my kids to connect their Easter basket to the true Gift, to the true message of Easter. A good children’s Bible, book, or CD can point kids to Jesus and the Gospel in a fun, age-appropriate way.

These children’s Bibles and CDs below are some of our family’s favorites and have encouraged our family’s faith. These are well-worn in our house because my kids listen to them or beg us to read them over and over. I hope they can bless your family as much as they have ours.

P.S. Any ideas for what Bible, book or CD we should get our 6-year-old boy, 4-year-old girl, and 2-year-old boy this Easter?

Thanks, Rachel! This is the exact reason that I was asking for music suggestions on the TH fb page last night. We also want to make sure that we focus our eyes on Christ at Easter…though we’ll also celebrate with chocolate consumption!
