DIY Wedding Card: An Easy Silhouette Project

Ah, wedding showers. We love them and hate them at the same time, don’t we ladies?

I went to a lovely wedding shower a while back that turned out being quite fun. I had gotten the bride-to-be a gift off of her registry but didn’t really think about a card until 3 hours before the shower. Whoops!

Now that I have my fancy-shmancy Silhouette Machine I can make a pretty snazzy card in just a few minutes. Here is what I whipped up for the wedding shower gift.

I started with a piece of cardstock that I cut down to size. Then of course, the fancy vinyl wording made via the Silhouette.

The little flowers in the corner were from Hobby Lobby. I just used some craft glue to attach them.

Here’s what the back side looked like. I hadn’t written my personal message to the bride yet. You’ll just have to imagine a sweet, clever message to her that will improve her marriage ten-fold.

There you have it. An easy, DIY wedding card. I also made a Thank You card a while back if you’re interested. Cards are beginning to be one of my favorite Silhouette Projects to make. Want to see what else I’ve been making with my Silhouette Machine? Here are my most recent creations.
