A while back I had some computer problems that resulted in me losing a lot of my music on my computer in iTunes. I was really bummed but not totally at a loss because it was all still on my (6 year old) ipod. Well, I noticed the other day that my ipod was starting to fizzle out. Uh oh. How do I save this music??
I needed to figure out a way to get my music from my ipod to my iTunes. However, if you are familiar with iTunes, you know it works the opposite way. If I were to sync my ipod to my computer, my computer would erase all that was on my ipod and replace it with what is in my current iTunes. You still with me? ITunes won’t let you move music in reverse from an ipod to your computer. Boo.
I did a little research and found out about a downloadable program called, Senuti. It is free for 30 days or for up to 1,000 songs. It is a program that allows you do the music transfer in reverse: from ipod to iTunes.
I gave it a shot and am happy to say it worked great!!! It was super user friendly and now all of my long lost music is back at home in my iTunes. All I had to do was drag and drop what I wanted from my ipod. I’m listening to songs that I haven’t to in years. It makes me so happy!
