Pinterest Recipe Successes: April Edition

Pinterest Recipe Successes

Each month, I’m hoping to connect you to my favorite recipes I’ve made from my Pinterest boards. Check out Pinterest Successes: February 2013 and the one from March 2013 for more ideas. I’m a few days late on this April Edition, but here it is none-the-less. Last month I made these two new recipes and they rocked!

Whole Wheat Pumpkin Chocolate Chip Muffins from Heavenly Homemakers

Oh my, these will be a staple in our house…in addition to these muffins, of course. They have amazing flavor and are full of pumpkin, whole grains, and good-for-you fat!

Bacon-Wrapped Dates Stuffed with Cream Cheese and Almonds by Emeril Lagasse on Food Network

I took these to our small group Bible study as part of the snack. They were a hit. The big thing I learned, though, is that they take much longer to cook than this recipe says! I had fairly thick bacon and it took about 10 minutes per side (so 20 minutes total).
