Breakfast Cereal Parfait

This easy breakfast idea packs in fruits, whole grains, and yogurt for a healthy and delicious start to the day. Not to mention, it’s fun!
My children regularly ask for a breakfast parfait using cereal instead of the usual granola. In fact, sometimes I bring them in on the process, having them make their own version (although it’s definitely not faster or less messy!). I love the idea of involving my kiddos creatively in the kitchen when I can, though.
This super simple one-glass breakfast also doubles as an after-school snack for kids or moms.
Use the yogurt you like best. We enjoy vanilla Greek yogurt for its thick consistency and taste.
And then throw in whatever cereal you have on hand or like best. This one was made with Multigrain Cheerios, but sometimes I use granola or even Oatmeal Squares. It really is up to you or your kid.
As for fruit, we like fresh berries and banana slices, but you can also warm up some frozen fruit to use instead.
