Greek Pitas with  Pulled Pork

make Ahead meal

key ingredients:

Pork shoulder Red onion Salt & pepper Chicken broth Minced garlic Pita bread Tzatziki Sauce

In a small bowl, stir together all seasonings. Pat the pork shoulder dry with paper towels. Then place the seasoning mixture on all sides of the pork.

You can choose to cook in  an instant pot or in slow cooker. If cooking in a slow cooker, place the seasoned pork and  add broth and onions. Cover and cook on low for 7-9 hours.

If using the instant pot, place the quartered pork, onions, and broth in the pot. Lock and seal the lid. Cook at high pressure for 45 minutes.

After the pork has fully cooked, remove from cooker and shred.

Serve on warm pita bread with your favorite Greek toppings.

To make it a freezer meal:

Place the seasoned pork, onion, and broth in a gallon-size freezer bag. Seal and freeze.
