This 5-ingredient Asian Sesame Salad Dressing recipe couldn’t be easier or tastier. A few Asian-inspired pantry ingredients shaken up together yield a savory, nutty, tangy, salty vinaigrette that tastes amazing atop a crispy green leaf or slaw salad.

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup avocado oil or peanut oil
  • 1/3 cup rice wine vinegar
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce (or coconut aminos for gluten-free option)
  • 3 tablespoons honey
  • 1 teaspoon sesame oil
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground black pepper, plus more to taste

Instructions

Add all the ingredients to a mason jar with lid, or a quart-sized freezer bag. Seal tightly and shake until combined. Taste and adjust the seasoning to your preference. This dressing can be stored in the refrigerator for 2-4 weeks or frozen for 3-6 months.


Notes/Tips

Ingredient Notes:

  • Soy sauce – Use coconut aminos for a gluten-free option.
  • Sesame oil – Just a little bit to add a nuttiness in the background.
  • Ground Black Pepper – No salt needed because of the soy sauce…just a little pepper for mild heat.
