Brown Sugar & Cinnamon Steel Cut Oats

key ingredients:

butter steal cut oats brown sugar water/milk ground cinnamon salt    

Place butter in the pot. When melted add the oats and cook, stirring often, for about 5 minutes, until fragrant.


Add water or milk, salt, brown sugar, and cinnamon to the pot and stir. Make sure all the oats are submerged in the liquid.


Cook the oats at high pressure for 12 minutes. When you open the pot give it a stir to incorporate.


Serve and enjoy with toppings of your choice. Blueberries Strawberries Shredded coconut Sliced banana


To make it a freezer meal:

Fully cook the oatmeal. Let the oatmeal cool, then divide it evenly among two 6-cup jumbo muffin tins. Freeze until frozen solid, then pop out and transfer them to a gallon-size freezer bag or container. Seal and freeze.
