Asian Sesame Salad Dressing

This 5-ingredient Asian Sesame Salad Dressing recipe couldn't be easier or tastier. A few Asian-inspired pantry ingredients shaken up together yield a savory, nutty, tangy, salty vinaigrette that tastes amazing atop a crispy green leaf or slaw salad.

Ingredients
 

  • 1/2 cup avocado oil (sub: peanut oil)
  • 1/3 cup rice wine vinegar
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce (sub: coconut aminos for gluten-free option)
  • 3 tablespoons honey
  • 1 teaspoon sesame oil
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground black pepper (plus more to taste)

Instructions
 

  1. Add all the ingredients to a mason jar with lid, or a quart-sized freezer bag. Seal tightly and shake until combined. Taste and adjust the seasoning to your preference. This dressing can be stored in the refrigerator for 2-4 weeks or frozen for 3-6 months.

Notes/Tips

Refrigerator Storage: This dressing can be stored in the refrigerator for 1-2 weeks. When ready to use it after storing, let it set on the counter for a few minutes and then give it a good shake.
Freezer Storage: You can also freeze this dressing in a mason jar (leave 1 inch of head room at the top), a freezer container with lid, or a freezer bag for up to 6 months. Thaw in the refrigerator or in a cold water bath. Set on the counter for a few minutes and shake well until re-combined.
