- 2 cups vanilla Greek yogurt sub: plain Greek yogurt for less sugar
- 2 cups fresh berries i.e. diced strawberries, blueberries, blackberries, raspberries
- 1.5 cups Homemade Granola sub: store-bought granola
- Optional toppings: chia seeds, sliced almonds, chopped pecans, shredded coconut, chopped walnuts, ground flaxseed, cinnamon, banana slices, cereal like Cheerios, etc.
In 4 small mason jars, add 1/4 cup yogurt per container. Top each container with 1/4 cup berries.
Repeat these layers again. There should be a little room on top for add-ins later.
Add a lid to the parfait and store for 3-4 days in the refrigerator.
When you are ready to eat it, top with about 1/4 cup granola. You may also want to try other add-ins (see Notes.)
- Optional add-ins: You can add chia seeds, sliced almonds, chopped pecans, shredded coconut, chopped walnuts, ground flaxseed, cinnamon, banana slices, cereal like Cheerios, etc. The chia seeds can be added to the parfait ahead of time, but the rest of these need to be added right before eating for best texture.
- Frozen berries will work for this, but I don't personally love the texture after they have thawed. Plus, it adds a lot of liquid to the make ahead parfaits. But, my kids have eaten them this way many times. So, it's up to you!
- This recipe is very customizable. Don't get too caught up on measurements.
- Dice up large pieces of fruit to help it fit better into the mason jar.
