Mom Hack: Make Your Lego Problems Go Away

All moms of boys know the problem of Legos, eh? They breed and then migrate. That’s my best guess for how they get under the refrigerator, next to the toilet, and in the van, among about 206 other locations.
One solution that I’ve found helpful is…wait for it…wait for it… Contain the Legos on a sheet pan with raised sides. Tah duh! I know I just blew your mind.
A sheet pan spreads the little pieces out, making them easy for little hands to grab. But, it keeps the Lego migration to a minimum. I have just designated this sheet pan the Lego pan and it stores in our toy closet. My 3-year-old loves to build at the counter while I fix dinner. And I love that the Legos stay put for the most part.
God speed on your new Lego solution!
P.S. One mom mentioned on our Facebook page that she uses this same solution for bead projects. Brilliant! Do you have any other Mom Hacks related to Legos or sheet pans? Do tell.
