Why You’ll Love Clementine Pumpkins

  1. Kids love them! It’s amazing how one small addition to this tangy fruit can completely transform it. I even used these as a snack for my son’s Halloween Party!
  2. They are SO easy. I am all about an easy Halloween Snack idea.
  3. They are perfect for a group. Clementine Pumpkins would be so cute on charcuterie board or served with a meal for a group of people. Include some Mummy Hot Dogs too.
  4. They are a healthy snack. Clementines are a healthy choice due to their rich vitamin C content, low calorie count, and dietary fiber, supporting immune health, digestion, and skin vitality.

How to Make Clementine Pumpkins

The first step is to slice up a green pepper into small pieces to serve at the “stem”. They should be fairly thin and about 1/2-1 inch long.

Green peppers sliced up on a wooden plate.

Now simply peel the clementine and place the green pepper into the hole on top.

That’s it. Seriously!

Variations

Here are a few ways you could mix up this snack idea.

  • Use a little piece of parsley as the stem.
  • Don’t peel the clementines and just draw a little jack-lantern face on it.
  • You could use celery as the stem.
