We love kabobs around here. I’ve found that the key to an awesome kabob is a good marinade. I’ve primarily stuck with chicken kabobs but this steak kabob recipe changed my habits. My husband is 100% happy with adding this into the rotation of meals around our house. We both were scarfing up our kabobs and going back for seconds.

Steak Kabob Marinade Recipe

Description

The key to a great kabob — the marinade. Try this flavorful marinade and you’re sure to amaze guests at your next cook out!


Ingredients

  • 1 cup vegetable oil
  • 3/4 cup soy sauce
  • 1/4 cup Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 teaspoon pepper
  • 2 cloves of garlic
  • 1/81/4 cup lemon juice

Instructions

  1. Lay steak in a 9×9 baking dish.
  2. Mix up all ingredients and pour over your steak. Let it marinade as long as you can! (Up to 12 hours).
  3. Chop up meat in inch cubes and slide on to kabob sticks.
  4. You can use whatever veggies you want but we used mushrooms, bell peppers, onions, and red potatoes.
  5. Give the vegetables a light seasoning of olive oil, garlic salt, and onion salt.
  6. Lightly oil the grill grate.
  7. Cook kabobs on the prepared grill for 10 minutes, or to desired doneness.

    I did marinate the vegetables but I forgot to coat the skewer in oil. They did turn out really yummy! My husband and I loved them. Thanks for all your delicious recipes. So far your website has been the best for recipes. I love the meal plans especially. Everything is usually kid friendly, yummy, and doesn’t need a ton of weird ingredients.

      Glad it worked! Yes, I believe I usually marinate the veggies too unless I’m going to freeze the dish. We love hearing that our recipes are working for others, so thank you for the kind words. And yes, we shoot for kid-friendly, yummy, and easy b/c that’s how our life is right now. 😉
